Pune: In Maharashtra’s Pune, a Muslim family offered a Hindu couple their hall for the latter’s wedding. The Hindu couple’s wedding was happening on the adjacent ground to the hall, where a Muslim wedding reception was happening. A rain disrupted the Hindu ceremony, which was when the Muslim family lent a helping hand.

The Hindu couple, Sanskruti Kawade Patil and Narendra Galande Patil, were set to tie the knot at Alankaran Lawns at 6.56 pm, but it was disrupted by rains, News 18 reported.
A member of the Galande Patil family told PTI, “There was chaos around the venue. Nearby, in the hall, the walima ceremony was going on. We requested the Kazi family to allow us to use the hall for some time to perform the saptapadi’ ritual."
He said that the Muslim family responded positively and offered the stage. The guests who came for the Muslim wedding helped the Hindu family to make arrangements, too.
“Even their guests helped us make arrangements for our rituals on stage. The rituals were performed with full respect for each other’s traditions," the Hindu family member said.
Videos of the incident are viral on social media. They show the Hindu and Muslim couple sharing a stage and posing for photos. Guests were also seen congratulating them and taking pictures with them.
The newlywed Muslim couple was Maheen and Mohsin Kazi.
