Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates signed a series of bilateral agreements and memorandums of understanding (MoUs) aimed at deepening cooperation across strategic sectors, during a high-level meeting on Tuesday.
The meeting was co-chaired by His Highness the Prime Minister of Kuwait, Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and UAE Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al-Nahyan.
The governments of both countries formalized cooperation in a wide range of areas including diplomatic relations, land transport and road infrastructure, social development, industrial advancement, education and the oil and gas sector.
Further agreements covered critical areas such as combating human trafficking, electricity and water sector development, direct investment promotion and data protection within joint security initiatives.
