Saudi Red Crescent opens volunteer registrations for Hajj 2025

The Saudi Red Crescent Authority has officially launched its volunteer registration drive for the upcoming Hajj season, encouraging community participation during one of the world’s largest religious gatherings.

Announced Monday through the Saudi Press Agency, the initiative invites volunteers to contribute across four specialised tracks: paramedic, humanitarian, media and logistics.

The paramedic track is designed for individuals trained in emergency response, offering first aid and rescue services before the arrival of professional medical teams. The humanitarian track focuses on assisting pilgrims by distributing water and snacks, as well as offering guidance and support to ensure a smooth experience during their spiritual journey.

Volunteers with a background in content creation can join the media track, which aims to document and highlight the efforts of volunteers through photography, videography and editing. The logistics track plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient management of supplies, including transportation, storage and distribution of essential equipment.

The Authority emphasised that volunteering for the Red Crescent during Hajj serves a vital role in safeguarding the well-being of pilgrims and offers participants a chance to develop new skills and contribute meaningfully to society.

Interested individuals are encouraged to register through the Red Crescent’s official volunteer platform.
