In response to increased competition in the delivery app market, food and grocery delivery platform Swiggy has created a second application, Snacc, which promises food delivery in 15 minutes.

The app was released on January 7 and is now available in select regions of Bengaluru. Snacc may be downloaded from both the iOS and Android app stores.

The app's landing page has a menu with categories such as Indian breakfast, coffee, beverages, and eggs and protein.

According to Moneycontrol, Swiggy intends to expand Snacc into additional parts of the country in the future, Siasat Daily reported.

Surprisingly, the concept for the app and its features was purportedly conceived only in mid-December.

In a comparable move, online food aggregator Zomato has entered the quick delivery industry, offering a similar 15-minute delivery time.

According to Mint, a '15 mins delivery' link appears in the Explore part of Zomato's app, offering clients a selection of meal options available for speedy delivery within a 1.5 km radius. However, it is unclear whether this option has been implemented nationwide.
