Mumbai: Mollywood icon Mohanlal experienced a truly unforgettable fan moment after receiving a signed jersey from his favourite football legend, Lionel Messi.
The Malayalam superstar shared the special moment on Instagram, posting a video of Messi signing the Argentina jersey personally for him. Later, Mohanlal proudly displayed the signed jersey, capturing the hearts of fans across the world with what many called the ultimate “fanboy moment.”
Reflecting on the emotional gesture, Mohanlal wrote in the caption: “Some moments in life feel too profound for words. They stay with you forever. Today, I experienced one of those moments. As I gently unwrapped the gift, my heart skipped a beat — a jersey signed by the legend himself, Lionel Messi. And there it was… my name, written in his own hand.”
The veteran actor praised Messi for his humility and grace, saying, “For someone who has long admired Messi, not just for his brilliance on the field but for his humility and grace, this was truly special.”
