New Delhi: A spokesperson for Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan clarified on Monday that a poster circulating on social media, showing the actor as Guru Nanak, is "completely fake and AI-generated." The poster, which includes a teaser trailer announcing an upcoming project, went viral online, leading to confusion among fans. In response, Khan's spokesperson issued a statement urging caution regarding fake news on social media.
"The poster showing Aamir Khan as Guru Nanak is completely fake and AI-generated. Aamir Khan has no connection to any such project. He holds the highest respect for Guru Nanak and would never be part of anything disrespectful. Please don’t fall for fake news," the statement read.
This incident follows a similar occurrence last year, when a fabricated video of Aamir discussing political matters ahead of the Lok Sabha elections also went viral.
