Prajakta Koli, better known as MostlySane, a YouTuber-turned-actor, has made history as the first and only Indian-born creator to be named to the 2025 TIME100 Creators List, a global celebration of the year's most significant digital voices.

TIME's inaugural Creators List honours creators who influence culture, spark conversation, and make a difference online and beyond, TNIE reported.

Koli joins other global digital superstars such as MrBeast (Jimmy Donaldson), Khabane Lame, Kai Cenat, and Mel Robbins. Prajakta responded to the accolade with a touching remark on Instagram: "There's so much I should be feeling right now, and even more I should be saying. But honestly, in this moment, only two words come to mind: thank you.”

Reflecting on her journey, she thanked her audience, family, team, and her 21-year-old self, who “dove headfirst into storytelling… with no plan, no prep, no roadmap just heart.”

Starting with relatable comedic sketches on YouTube that captured the essence of everyday Indian life, Koli has built a diverse and dynamic career. Her journey expanded into acting, with roles in Netflix’s Mismatched and Bollywood films like Jugjugg Jeeyo and Neeyat.

In 2025, she added to her creative portfolio by publishing her debut novel, Too Good To Be True, showcasing her talent as a storyteller.

Koli’s impact goes beyond entertainment. She actively supports social causes and has worked with major global organisations such as the United Nations, the Gates Foundation, the World Economic Forum, the International Olympic Committee, and the COP Summit.

From her early days as a radio intern to becoming a global digital influencer, Koli’s career has been marked by milestones, including being featured in Creators for Change alongside Michelle Obama—a project that went on to win a Daytime Emmy.

Previously named in Forbes India’s 30 Under 30 and GQ India’s Most Influential Young Indians 2025, her recent recognition by TIME further cements her standing as a powerful global voice in the digital storytelling landscape.
