New Delhi: BJP Chief JP Nadda is set to visit Odisha tomorrow and attend public programmes in Puri and Kandhmal where the party lost seats in 2019. He is currently in Tamil Nadu.

He will also meet local leaders like mandal and booth presidents and parliamentary teams handling these Lok Sabha seats. The visit is likely part of BJP's strategy to focus on the seats lost in the last elections, reported NDTV.

A brainstorming session in September was held to design a roadmap to win back the 144 Lok Sabha seats the party could not win in the previous elections. After the changes in Bihar and Maharashtra, there are now 160 seats BJP needs to win. As part of the strategy, these seats have been divided into clusters, and appointed one union minister as in charge. Another set of ministers was tasked with assessing the political situation and visiting all assembly segments.

BJP is also relying on SWOT analysis to understand the party's position in these constituencies. The blueprint also includes steps the party can take to win in 2024. This also has data on demographic details like caste and religion.
