Faizabad: BJP's Lallu Singh got beaten by Samajwadi Party candidate Awadhesh Prasad in Faizabad constituency. Thus, the BJP lost the constituency where they built the Ram Temple, their flagship promise since the 2014 general elections.
Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi won Rae Bareli as well as Wayanad both with more than 3.6 lakh votes. In Bareli, he defeated Uttar Pradesh minister and BJP candidate.
