Hours after two unattended bags created a bomb scare in East Delhi's Trilokpuri, there was a bomb threat at CRPF headquarters in Delhi, officials informed. The threat call was reportedly made from Telangana and was later found to be a hoax.
The call about a suspected bomb-like object in the paramilitary force headquarters was made to the fire authorities at around 6:30 PM. The paramilitary force officials informed the police control room, and two fire tenders and a few teams of the Delhi Police were rushed to the spot. However, no bomb or lethal item was found, and the call was declared a hoax.
Keeping in mind the upcoming Republic Day celebrations in the state, the security apparatus in the national capital has been put on high alert.
