Delhi: Nearly a month after Muslim graves near Delhi’s Signature Bridge were allegedly vandalised and set on fire by members of the Hindu Raksha Dal, the North Delhi Police reportedly remain unaware of the current status of the case, except that the main accused has been sent to jail.

On March 30, videos surfaced on social media allegedly showing Akash Pandit and several others setting fire to the cloth coverings on graves. In another video, Pandit and his associates were seen kicking and stomping on graves, causing damage.

When contacted by Siasat.com, an officer at the Timarpur police station said he had no information regarding the present status of the investigation or whether Pandit had been granted bail.
