An attack with a militant grenade wounded a civilian and policeman in Srinagar city on Sunday evening, according to police.

In the Safa Kadal area of Srinagar, militants reportedly hurled a grenade at a security team.

"The explosion injured two people, selection grade constable Mehraj and a civilian, Mushtaq Ahmad. They have both been shifted to hospitals for treatment. The area has been cordoned off for search operations," a police officer reported.
