New Delhi: A Delhi Court on Friday granted further extension of 3-days in judicial custody of Dr. Umar Khalid and JNU research scholar Sharjeel Imam, accused in the Delhi riots case, till November 23.

During the hearing on Friday, the prosecution informed the court that there was an application for 3-days judicial custody for both Umar Khalid and Sharjeel Imam.

The court allowed the application and also posted hearing of the application by Sharjeel to November 23.

Sharjeel has submitted the application for return of certain writings of him which had been earlier confiscated.
