Kolkata: Trinamool Congress leader Mahua Moitra has been issued a summons by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday for questioning in a Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) violation case.

According to sources, Moitra, who was expelled from the Lok Sabha for the "cash-for-query" scandal, was summoned to the ED's headquarters in Delhi on February 19.

There was, however, no official reaction or response from Moitra on the matter till the time of filing the report.
