NEET UG fee refund bank details portal open until May 27: NTA

New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened a dedicated portal for NEET UG 2026 candidates to submit bank account details for refund of examination fees following the cancellation of the test.
In a public notice, the NTA said candidates can log in to the NEET UG 2026 registration portal with their credentials and use the refund link to provide account information. The facility will remain live from 22 May 2026 until 27 May 2026 (11:50 PM), the agency added.
Candidates are required to provide the account holder’s name, bank name, account number and IFSC code. Uploading a scanned copy of a cancelled cheque is optional to help ensure accuracy. The NTA warned that the details submitted will be treated as final and no subsequent changes will be permitted.
The agency also advised candidates against initiating chargeback requests for the NEET UG 2026 examination.
The NEET UG exam held on 3 May was cancelled amid allegations of irregularities. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has announced that the re examination will be held on 21 June. The NTA has said the re test will be free of charge and that fees already paid by candidates will be refunded.
