Politicians, industry tycoons, sports & cinema icons: who are invited to Ram Temple event
cancel

A distinguished guest list for the upcoming Ram Temple consecration ceremony in Ayodhya on January 22 has been unveiled. The list includes prominent figures from industry, sports, and the arts, confirming their attendance at this historic event.

Key industrialists invited to the ceremony are Infosys founder NR Narayana Murthy, Mukesh Ambani, Anil Ambani, Gautam Adani, Ratan Tata, Natarajan Chandrasekaran of the Tata Group, and S N Subrahmanyan of the L&T Group.

This gathering is noteworthy as it marks the inclusion of NR Narayana Murthy, whose company Infosys faced accusations in the past. Earlier allegations against Infosys, accusing it of allegedly funding divisive elements in the country, were addressed in September 2021 by the RSS-affiliated magazine Panchjanya.

Despite the controversy, Murthy's presence at the ceremony signals a bridge between the corporate world and political spheres.

In addition to extending invitations to the leaders of major political parties, including prominent Opposition figures such as Sonia Gandhi, Manmohan Singh, Mallikarjun Kharge, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary, Lalu Yadav, Nitish Kumar, Sitaram Yechury, and Arvind Kejriwal, the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has also reached out to a multitude of film personalities.

This star-studded list features Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Madhuri Dixit, Anupam Kher, Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Chiranjeevi, Mohanlal, Dhanush, Rishab Shetty, Madhur Bhandarkar, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Sunny Deol, Prabhas, Yash, Tiger Shroff, Ayushmann Khurrana, Arun Govil, and Deepika Chikhalia Topiwala (renowned for her portrayal of Sita in the 1987 TV series Ramayan), along with esteemed lyricist Prasoon Joshi.

With more than 2,000 prominent faces from diverse fields set to attend, the Ram Temple consecration ceremony promises to be an occasion that brings together India's cultural, political, and corporate elite.
