Burqa-clad women from Hyderabad have alleged mistreatment at a shopping mall in Secunderabad, claiming they were subjected to repeated checks even after finishing their shopping.

The two pregnant women said they had purchased items worth about Rs 5,000 but were stopped and searched three times before leaving the mall. They alleged that, despite finding nothing in the first checks, staff reportedly searched them two more times.

After the incident, the women raised a complaint and recorded a video of the mall staff who conducted the checks, sharing their concerns about the manner in which they were treated.
