The Samajwadi Party leader later claimed that he lost temper after Deepak Singh verbally abused him, arriving at the station, as he was staging a sit-in protest.

It is reported that Deepak Sigh arrived at the station in the midst of the protest and abused the Samajwadi Party legislator and his supporters.
The situation, reportedly according to the police, went out of hand as the two political rivals came face-to-face.
