Thar SUV runs over security guard in Delhi for questioning honking

New Delhi: A shocking footage showed a Thar SUV in Delhi hitting a security guard for asking the driver to stop honking.
The car was seen running over the helpless man at the Mahipalpur crossing here.
Rajiv Kumar, hailing from Bihar, was heading home in Mahipalpur after a night shift at the Delhi airport's Terminal 3 when the incident took place.
Rajiv Kumar was walking along the road, when a car approached honking loudly.
Kumar reportedly asked the SUV driver Vijay to stop honking when the driver demanded his baton.
When Kumar refused, Vijay threatened to run him over if he dared crossing the road, according to the report.
The moment Kumar crossed the road, the SUV hit him and he was seen falling on the road.
Although Kumar was crying in pain, the SUV was seen reversing and driving over Kumar again.
It is reported that the guard’s legs were crushed in the attack alongside suffering other injuries.
As Kumar was immediately transported to hospital, the car driver fled the scene.
Police arrested the SUV driver shortly later and charged him with attempted murder.
