New Delhi: During a TV interview, India's High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Vikram Doraiswami, gave an undeniable evidence of Pakistan’s involvement in sponsoring cross-border terrorism.

Speaking to Sky News, Vikram Doraiswami, showed a poster-sized image of a US-sanctioned terrorist alongside Pakistani military brass attending the funeral of terrorists killed by India under Operation Sindoor, NDTV reported.

Hafiz Abdur Rauf, a US-sanctioned terrorist and brother of Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Masood Azhar, was seen in the image that Doraiswami presented.

Uniformed Pakistani military officers were seen lining up behind Rauf with Pakistani flags draped on the coffins of the terrorists.

The High Commissioner pointing to the photo from yesterday said that ‘This person here is a sanctioned terrorist under the American sanctions regime,’ adding that those behind him are Pakistani military personnel giving the state funerals to the terrorists.

‘If you're going to be giving terrorists state funerals, what does that make of your system?’ Vikram Doraiswami asked.

Shared by India at a press briefing in New Delhi, the photograph showcased vital visual proof of Pakistan officially supporting terrorists which India has been highlighting for several decades.

The interview followed India’s precision attack on nine terrorist camps in Pakistan in response to Pahalgam massacre on April 22.

India targeted the headquarters of the terrorist group the Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) in Pakistan's Punjab province.

Following the operation, the BJP released the image showing Abdul Rauf Azhar, Masood Azhar's brother, stamped with ‘eliminated’ across his image.

Abdul Rauf Azhar was found to be involved in 1999 hijacking of Indian Airlines flight IC-814, the 2001 Indian Parliament attack, and the 2016 Pathankot airbase assault.

India had to release Masood Azhar himself and three other terrorists during the Kandahar hijacking of IC-814 in exchange for 190 civilian hostages.
