Jaipur: Vasundhara Raje, the former chief minister of Rajasthan, was not added to any of the two major electoral committees that the BJP announced on Thursday for the Congress-run state of Rajasthan. Former MP Narayan Panchariya serves as the chairman of the 21-member election management committee. The Pradesh Sankalp Patra (manifesto) committee, headed by Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal, will oversee the electoral manifesto.

Before the end-of-year assembly elections, the party is anticipated to launch a third committee for the state: an election campaign committee.

The announcement was made by BJP state president C P Joshi and in-charge for Rajasthan, Arun Singh.
