Income tax officials raid offices of top Malayalam film producers

Income Tax officials of the TDS wing of Kochi office on Friday raided the offices of three leading Kerala film producers including Antony Perambavoor, Anto Joseph and Liston Stephen. The officials are inspecting the details of the recent releases through OTT platforms of these producers, sources inform.

Antony Perambavoor is the biggest producer in the state at the moment. He is mostly associated with producing blockbusters featuring superstar Mohanlal. It is being speculated that he has sold his mega film "Marakkar- Lion of Arabia" to OTT for Rs 70 crores. Joseph, meanwhile, is a close aide of superstar Mammootty.
