K C Venugopal leads in Alappuzha with over 30,000 votes

Alappuzha: Emerging updates from Alappuzha constituency shows that AICC general secretary KC Venugopal leading by 37,846 votes.

As of 11.50 when the last updates emerged he has gained a total of 2,27,232 votes.

While his rival and sitting MPA M Ariff is trailing currently with 1,89,386 votes.

In the 2019 polls, Ariff was the only left MP to make it to the parliament from Kerala.

Meanwhile, BJP's senior leader Shobha Surendran, who pulled off high voltage campaign, is trailing in the third position with 1,67,442 votes.
