Kerala man assault mother, son eating inside a car; arrested

Kollam (Kerala): In a case of alleged moral policing, a man named Ashish who attacked a 44-year-old woman and her 23-year-old son was arrested by the Kerala police on Wednesday.
The mother-son duo was having food inside their car on a busy roadside in Kerala's Kollam district on August 30, when Ashish made obscene comments against them and when the son objected, the accused started attacking the vehicle.
The mother-son duo lodged a complaint at Paravoor police station in Kollam.
The incident was widely condemned on social media and subsequently, on September 1 night, the police arrested the accused from Thenmala when he was trying to flee to Tamil Nadu.
Mother and son suffered multiple injuries in the attack. The car was also damaged in the assault
