New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that Class 12 students unable to appear for the Hindi exam scheduled on March 15 due to Holi celebrations will be given another opportunity to write the paper.

CBSE Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj stated that while Holi will be celebrated on March 14 in most parts of the country, in some regions, festivities may extend to March 15. "After receiving feedback, it has been decided that while the examination will proceed as scheduled, students who face difficulties appearing for the exam on March 15 can take it on a later date," he said.

The board clarified that affected students will be allowed to appear for the exam alongside those who qualify for CBSE's special examination policy, which applies to students participating in national or international sports events.
