Gaza Strip: Israeli forces mercilessly killed 35 people across the Gaza Strip in separate incidents on Thursday. Out of the dead, four were waiting to collect air, Agence France-Presse reported.

Gaza Civil Defence agency told AFP that the deaths were after Israeli forces opened fire.

However, the Israeli military has not immediately responded to AFP’s request for comment.

In the meantime, Israel’s far-right national security minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir, demanded a complete stoppage of the flow of humanitarian aid into Gaza. On the day, he claimed that Hamas, an armed group which is resisting Israel in the war-torn enclave, is appropriating supplies to sustain itself, The Indian Express reported.

Ben Gvir wrote on X, “The humanitarian aid currently entering Gaza is an absolute disgrace. “What is needed in Gaza is not a temporary halt to the ‘humanitarian’ aid, but a complete halt to it.”

He informed that he would ask Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to bring the matter to a cabinet vote. The minister always opposed allowing aid into Gaza.

“When I warned and alerted, and sadly the only one who voted a month and a half ago against allowing the aid, which was clear to me would give oxygen to Hamas, there were those who mocked me and claimed that "the aid entering the northern Strip would only be for 10 days." And now it is becoming clear what was known in advance: Hamas is taking control of the quantities of food and goods, which contribute to its survival,” the minister wrote.

He also claimed that stopping the aid would result in a quick victory for Israel.

“Stopping the aid will quickly advance us toward victory. I will demand from the Prime Minister that in the next cabinet meeting, the issue of allowing aid into the Strip be brought up for a renewed vote,” the minister wrote on X.
