Kuwait condemns Houthi missile attempts targeting Saudi Arabia

KUWAIT: Kuwait on Saturday condemned attempts by the Houthi militia to target Riyadh with a ballistic missile, along with civilian sites in the cities of Baish, Taif, Farasan and Yanbu.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the attacks were a flagrant violation of Saudi sovereignty and a gross breach of international law and international humanitarian law. It praised the vigilance and capability of the Saudi Royal Air Defense Forces in countering them.
The ministry reiterated Kuwait's solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its support for all measures the Kingdom takes to safeguard its sovereignty and security and to protect its citizens and expatriates.
It added that the security of Saudi Arabia is an integral part of the security of Kuwait and the other GCC member states.
