Kuwait condemns Kashmir attack, offers condolences to India
text_fieldsThe State of Kuwait has strongly condemned the recent terror attack in India’s Jammu and Kashmir region, which claimed several lives and injured others, reaffirming its firm stance against all forms of terrorism.
In an official statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday, Kuwait denounced the April 22 attack in the Pahalgam area of Kashmir that targeted a group of tourists. The ministry conveyed heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and expressed wishes for the swift recovery of those injured.
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a condolence cable to Indian President Droupadi Murmu, expressing sorrow over the tragic loss of life. The Amir offered sincere sympathies and extended wishes for the injured to recover quickly.
His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah also sent a cable of condolences to the Indian President, expressing grief over the victims and extending prayers for the wounded.
Similarly, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah conveyed his condolences in a separate message, condemning the violence and expressing solidarity with the people of India in the face of this tragic incident.
Kuwait reiterated its rejection of terrorism in all its forms and urged continued international efforts to combat extremist violence and safeguard civilian lives.
