Kuwait hosts GCC cybersecurity meeting to boost digital security

Participants reviewed ongoing efforts to counter rising cyber threats. They also explored ways to develop critical infrastructure and expand training programs to build regional expertise in cybersecurity.
The committee followed up on the implementation of earlier decisions and mapped out future strategies to ensure a unified GCC response to emerging risks.
Officials said the meeting marked an important step toward deeper Gulf cooperation in cybersecurity. The goal is to protect shared digital interests and reinforce the safety and stability of the region’s online space.
