Kuwait leaders extend condolences to India over air crash

Kuwait has extended its heartfelt condolences and solidarity to India following the tragic crash of an Air India flight carrying 242 passengers, which claimed numerous lives.
In a statement issued on Thursday, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed deep sympathy and support for the Indian leadership, government and people during this time of mourning. The ministry also conveyed condolences to the families of the victims, calling the incident a "painful tragedy".
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a condolence cable to Indian President Droupadi Murmu, offering sincere solace over the lives lost in the crash.
Similar messages of sympathy were conveyed by His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, who also sent cables to President Murmu, expressing Kuwait’s sorrow and support.
The crash, involving an Air India flight bound for London, occurred shortly after takeoff from Ahmedabad, resulting in a devastating loss of life and prompting international condolences.
