First Saudi airlift delivers vital aid to Syria

The first plane of Saudi Arabia’s relief airlift, organized by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), landed at Damascus International Airport today. The aircraft carried essential food, shelter materials and medical supplies, along with a KSrelief team to oversee the distribution process.

The plane's arrival was marked by the presence of Abdullah Al-Harees, Chargé d'Affaires of the Saudi Embassy in Syria, Dr. Mohammed Hazem Bakleh, President of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent and various media representatives.

Al-Harees stressed Saudi Arabia's unwavering commitment to providing humanitarian aid to Syria through KSrelief. He reiterated that the Kingdom's efforts aim to ease the hardships faced by the Syrian people amid the ongoing crisis.

Dr. Bakleh extended deep appreciation to Saudi Arabia, emphasizing the impartial distribution of the aid to vulnerable communities across Syria. He acknowledged the critical role played by KSrelief in addressing the pressing needs of those affected by the conflict.

This initiative highlights Saudi Arabia's active engagement in global humanitarian efforts. Through KSrelief, the Kingdom continues to demonstrate its dedication to supporting those in need, regardless of location or circumstance.
