Gulf leaders praise Saudi Arabia for successfully organising Hajj
text_fieldsLeaders of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) nations have extended their congratulations to the Saudi leadership for successfully organizing and managing the Hajj pilgrimage, which has seen the participation of nearly 1.4 million Muslims since Wednesday, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman received official messages of praise on Sunday from regional counterparts, including UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, Oman’s Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, Qatar’s Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and Kuwait’s Emir Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
The leaders commended Saudi Arabia’s effective use of artificial intelligence and modern technologies to oversee the pilgrimage — one of the largest religious gatherings in the world.
Saudi authorities facilitated the pilgrimage by providing essential services to more than a million pilgrims across key holy sites in Makkah and Madinah. These included continuous access to food, water, medical care, accommodation and transportation, ensuring a safe and smooth Hajj experience.
