Saudi Arabia explores global quality standards at Tokyo conference

Saudi Arabia’s Education and Training Evaluation Commission (ETEC) took part in the 18th conference of the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE), held in Tokyo from May 13 to 16.

The event, hosted by the Japan University Accreditation Association, was themed “The Big Bang Theory: The Quality Assurance Paradigm Shift". It brought together global stakeholders to discuss evolving quality assurance frameworks in response to rapid technological changes and shifting societal needs.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, ETEC’s participation reflects its continued commitment to strengthening international engagement and aligning Saudi Arabia’s education and training systems with leading global standards. The commission joined discussions on innovative approaches and collaborative practices aimed at enhancing the quality of higher education worldwide.
