Saudi: flynas starts new route between Riyadh and Moscow
text_fieldsSaudi Arabia’s low-cost carrier flynas has launched direct flights between Riyadh and Moscow, aiming to enhance tourism and travel links between the Kingdom and Russia.
The inaugural flight, which arrived on August 1, was welcomed by Saudi Ambassador to Russia and Belarus Abdulrahman Al-Ahmed, flynas CEO Bandar Al-Mohanna and Russian Deputy Transport Minister Vladimir Poteshkin.
The new route, introduced in partnership with the Saudi Tourism Authority, adds Moscow to flynas’ growing international network and supports Saudi Arabia’s broader tourism and aviation goals under Vision 2030.
Flights will operate three times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, connecting King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh with Vnukovo International Airport in Moscow.
According to flynas, the service offers Russian travellers greater access to Saudi Arabia’s cultural and historical destinations, including Diriyah, AlUla and the Red Sea.
