Riyadh: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has launched a new Food Security and Emergency Support Project in Afghanistan for the 2025–2026 period, to support Afghans returning from Iran.

As part of the initiative, KSrelief has allocated 5,000 food baskets to help meet the immediate nutritional needs of returnees.

The initiative falls under the Kingdom’s wider relief strategy, executed through KSrelief, to enhance food security and provide emergency support to vulnerable populations worldwide. Saudi Arabia continues to position itself as a key contributor to international humanitarian efforts.
