Abu Dhabi police deny 50% traffic fines discount rumour
cancel

Abu Dhabi Police have refuted claims of a 50% discount on traffic fines circulating online. In a social media statement, officials clarified that the only valid discount schemes are those previously announced.

Currently, there is a 35% discount on fines paid within 60 days of the violation date, excluding serious violations. Fines paid between 60 days and one year after the violation receive a 25% discount.

Motorists can also pay fines in 12-month instalments at zero interest, provided the credit card is issued by banks contracted with the Abu Dhabi Police General Command.

Payments can be made via the TAMM platform or at customer service counters.

The police urged the public to rely on official sources for accurate information and avoid spreading unverified reports.
