text_fieldsThe Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy has completed a series of global roadshows in partnership with the Dubai World Trade Centre to promote Expand North Star 2025. The event, known as the world’s largest exhibition for startups and investors, will be held at Dubai Harbour from October 12 to 15.
The chamber visited 16 cities across nine countries, including Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Portugal, Singapore, the UK, the US and Vietnam. During the tour, representatives met with more than 2,000 digital startups and over 215 key players in the tech ecosystem. These included venture capital firms, startup incubators and government agencies.
The roadshows aimed to attract digital companies to Dubai and promote the benefits of joining Expand North Star 2025. The chamber presented Dubai’s competitive advantages and shared details about the support available for startups that want to expand in the emirate.
Each city featured pitch competitions where startups showcased their ideas. Winners from each location earned a fully sponsored trip to participate in the exhibition in Dubai. Additional competitions were held to select participants for the final round of the Supernova Challenge, the region’s biggest startup pitch contest, which will take place during the main event.
Organised by Dubai World Trade Centre and hosted by the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, Expand North Star brings together startups, investors, entrepreneurs and digital leaders from around the world.
The chamber said Expand North Star 2025 supports Dubai’s goal to become a leading hub for innovation and digital technologies. It is also a key part of the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33), which aims to position Dubai among the world’s top digital economies.
The Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy continues to support the city’s digital growth and expand opportunities for global startups. With events like Expand North Star, the chamber aims to boost long-term growth and play a key role in shaping the digital economy.
