Dubai has successfully won the bid to host the International Conference on Computer Vision (ICCV) in 2029, the leading global event for computer vision and artificial intelligence (AI). The conference is expected to attract over 15,000 industry leaders, experts and officials.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council made the announcement on his X account. He highlighted Dubai's strong innovation ecosystem and excellent hospitality as key factors for hosting the event.

The ICCV 2029 will significantly contribute to advancing Dubai's technological innovation agenda and support the UAE's goal of becoming a global leader in AI. This event is poised to shape the future of AI and computer vision, aligning with Dubai's vision for technological advancement.
