Dubai: The festive season turned brighter for expatriate families as Gulf Madhyamam, in association with Day To Day Supermarket Group, hosted the Little Stars Kids’ Fashion Competition in Karama.

The event, held at Day To Day Supermarket, brought together over 80 children who showcased their talent in a vibrant atmosphere filled with Onam celebrations. Only pre-registered and shortlisted participants were invited to take part in the contest.

Dressed in Kerala’s traditional attire as well as colorful costumes representing other cultures, the young participants added charm to the evening. The competition began at 7 p.m. and continued until 9 p.m., drawing enthusiastic support from parents and visitors.

After a spirited contest, Atvika Sumal secured first place, followed by Sarah Catherine in second and Parvana Raveesh Nair in third. The winners received prizes from Day To Day Karama shop manager, Mohammed Ajdari. All participants were also presented with encouragement gifts.

The judging panel included Jasitha Sanjith and Shaij Vinod, who praised the children’s confidence and creativity. The evening also featured a live band performance and a magic show.
