Indian Embassy in UAE to hold open house for expats on May 2

The Indian Embassy in the UAE has announced an open house for Indian community members in Abu Dhabi, scheduled for Friday, May 2. The session will be held at the Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi from 2pm to 4pm.
The initiative aims to offer a platform for the Indian diaspora to engage directly with embassy officials on matters related to labour rights, consular affairs, education and welfare. Attendees can raise concerns and seek clarification on issues affecting them.
However, the embassy has clarified that no consular services such as passport renewals, document issuance or attestations will be available during the session.
In a separate move to enhance communication, the embassy has also launched an official WhatsApp channel to provide community members with verified announcements and updates.
