The UAE Ministry of Education said on Saturday that school bus services will resume nationwide from Monday, April 20, alongside the return to in-person classes.

The move, taken with local education authorities, applies to both public and private institutions, including nurseries and kindergartens. Bus services had been paused earlier as a precaution during the recent phase.

Students across the country are set to return to classrooms the same day, ending more than a month of remote learning.

Officials said schools have carried out readiness checks, staff training and operational reviews ahead of reopening.

In a statement issued on April 17, the ministry confirmed that all students, teaching staff and administrative employees in public and private nurseries, kindergartens and schools will resume in-person attendance from April 20.
