A user shared that rockhopper penguins earned their name due to their behaviour on land. They use thick-skinned feet and strong legs to navigate the steep and rocky shores of the breeding islands.
This is not the first time netizens are gushing over a video of penguins chasing after a butterfly. In August 2022, a similar video captured in an enclosure went viral on social media. In that clip, three penguins were seen hopping after a butterfly. Eventually, more penguins joined the chase. They were seen following and playing with the butterfly.
