British Colombia: Police evacuated homes and businesses in the neigbourhood of a bank in British Colombia after discovering potential explosive devices soon afterwards a gunfight on Tuesday.
Canadian police shot dead two men during the gunfight at the Bank of Montreal in Saanich, on Vancouver Island, near the border with the U.S. state of Washington, according to Reuters.

Police ordered evacuation of homes and business in the area after the discovery of a potential explosive device in a vehicle used by the suspects.
Reports suggest that the suspects involved in the attack were "heavily armed" wearing body armor.
Saanich police chief Dean Duthie told a press conference that he did not have any further information about them.
Six officers were taken to hospital with gunshot wounds.
The officer also said that some of the six officer who were taken wounded to hospital would be released after emergency treatment.
