Former BBC journalist and ex-wife of Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan survived an armed attack late night Sunday. She was attacked on the way back home after attending her nephew's marriage.

Reham Khan had been a vocal and leading critic of the Imran government after both separated 10 months ago. A tweet from her official Twitter handle said that two men on a motorbike held the vehicle at gunpoint. Further, she firmly asserted that the so-called government is accountable for the attack.

Police registered FIR on her demand to bring culprits under law.
