As the Muslim holy month of Ramadan started on the eve of April 1 in many countries, particularly in the Middle East and the rest to have on April 2, the renowned Brazilian writer and lyricist Paulo Coelho extended his heart-warming wishes to the world.


On Facebook, he wrote, "Dear friends: we Christians spent centuries full of arrogance, intolerance, prejudice. So, like every year, I beg you to forgive us.
