Kuwait says Iranian attack on Chinese company site kills worker

Kuwait’s Defence Ministry said on Thursday that an Iranian attack targeted a building belonging to a Chinese company in the north of the country, killing one worker.
The strike caused extensive material damage to the facility, the ministry said.
Saud Al-Atwan, the ministry’s official spokesman, said the relevant authorities immediately began the necessary procedures and responded to the incident in coordination with concerned agencies.
He said the Armed Forces continue to carry out their duties efficiently and are taking all necessary measures, in coordination with the competent authorities, to protect Kuwait’s sovereignty, security and stability.
Mr Al-Atwan said efforts also remain focused on safeguarding the safety of citizens and residents.
