New Delhi: A S Oka is one of the five members of the Supreme Court Collegium, which is now led by new Chief Justice Sanjiv Khanna.
The reconstitution of the collegium is an important event following the retirement of former CJI DY Chandrachud on November 10.
The five-member collegium, which is in charge of appointing justices for the Supreme Court and the High Court, will include the Chief Justice and Justices B R Gavai, Surya Kant, Hrishikesh Roy, and A S Oka, the New Indian Express reported.
The recent reshuffle also formed a three-member Collegium responsible for appointing HC judges, which included the CJI and Justices Gavai Surya Kant.
