Kuwait’s Cabinet has condemned a series of attacks attributed to Iran targeting key infrastructure, including an energy facility, major ports and a tanker linked to the country.

In a statement, officials denounced a strike on a service building at a power generation and water desalination plant that resulted in the death of an Indian worker and caused material damage.

The Cabinet also addressed separate attacks involving cruise missiles and drones that struck Mubarak Al-Kabeer and Shuwaikh Ports. Authorities said the incidents led to infrastructure damage but no reported casualties.

During the session, ministers were briefed by Oil Minister and Kuwait Petroleum Corporation chairman Tarek Al-Roumi on an incident involving a Kuwaiti tanker. The vessel was targeted while in the United Arab Emirates, outside Dubai’s port.

Officials did not provide further details on the extent of damage or any additional response measures.
